Need of the hour

What is really needed in research is originality. And getting creative with original ideas is not a easy task. Because creativity is linked to originality and both are dependent on intuition. Unfortunately, intuition is totally dependent on what a person thinks and person's thinking is based on what he or she has read or has focused. The focus of his attention would be the guiding motto for one's research as I observed and it would be a wise friend as long as some one can realize that their own experience is the best teacher for improving their research skills. It is though intimidating some times to enter frontiers of research which are inter disciplinary and understand intricate aspects of technologies which are developed by people from various culture. Research is dominated significantly by cultural aspects and is mainly a guiding factor for one's future ideas.

In the game of chess, there are 20 possible initial moves a person can make. This is a interesting theme which evolves into multiple moves based on the opponents move. In a highly competitive world, it is important to realize that the first few papers that we start writing or thinking pave way to our future research. Because, initially our mind is pulled in different directions and our research aptitude will be such that it will be leading to many different paths and choice of the path is very difficult.
